The main reason we split the lawn area in this Mediterranean landscape design was to create access to and from the street This is one of those necessary elements you look for first and then design around them What generally gives a design like this its theme is the plant selection We used Mediterranean plants Imagine Maples and such would give this same garden a Japanese feel
